Wild Flowers
Whatever time of year you choose to visit, there are so many beautiful wild flowers to enjoy
...Starting in Springtime...
...first sign of spring...A season of excitement and beauty as nature bursts into new life.
The colourful floral procession begins with the first snowdrops,
and continues with wild daffodils, periwinkle,
violets and primroses, bluebells, wood anemones and the vibrant golden chains of laburnum hedging the meadows.
The display winds it's way through the months
...Into Early Summer...
...wild flowers...with spectacular foxgloves, campion, dog-daisies and harebells
through to the wild scented honeysuckle and dog roses that adorn the later summer hedgerows
while golden broom scents the air, and blossoms through most of the year
...Autumn Days are Mellow and Golden...
The carnival errupts with a colourful explosion of hips and berries
...autumn glory...
If you're lucky you may experience one of our late afternoon sun sets,
when the entire landscape seems illuminated with golden, rose jewel tones, and you seem somehow to be part of it all.

Fox
Occasionally the sight of a fox or two may fascinate you, perhaps with a family of cubs scampering around.
Badger
...badger...
look for them at dusk on the trails through the woodland,
or sometimes in the paddocks and fields nearer the campsite, as they forage in the undergrowth.
Hare
You have to up very early to catch a rare glimpse of the hare, but if you are lucky enough to spot them you'll be glad you made the effort.
Rabbit
...rabbit...Rabbits seem to be getting braver all the time.
They are often sunning themselves or hopping around the touring park, delighting everyone with their pretty antics.
...and the rest of the world will have to wait...
