Brongwyn Touring Caravan and Camping Site is close to Cardigan Bay and UK's first Marine Heritage Coast

 

Boasting some of Britain's most beautiful beaches

 

 

with Harbour Porpoises, Atlantic Grey Seals and the famous Bottle Nosed Dolphins offshore.

A third of Ceredigion's spectacular coastline has been defined as 'Heritage Coast'

 

 

and is a haven for important marine wildlife.

 

 

Large numbers of grey seal pups are born around the coast in September & October,

 

 

particularly on the offshore islands of Skomer, Stokholm and Ramsey

 

 

which are also important seabird nesting sites for Puffins, Manx Shearwaters, Fulmars, Gannets & more.

You can take a boat trip to view the porpoises, grey seals and dolphins

 

 

but it is also possible to sight them as you explore the beautiful coastline.

 

 

Our local beach at Mwnt, just two and a half miles away, is one of their favourite haunts.

It is a magical experience to witness the dolphins' amazing ballet as they leap through the waves.


 

 

 

 

 

Nearby, Cardigan Island is home to a colony of Atlantic Grey Seals.

or popping their whiskery faces out of the water.

 

Just a few miles south of our holiday cottages is Pembrokeshire, with the magnificent Coastal Path and a string of beautiful beaches to explore
